It has been several weeks since I have posted but hopefully I can get back to posting on a more regular schedule now. During the past few weeks we have transitioned to our summer cottage and I have had lots of projects that are not blog worthy going on. I have scrubbed a ton of pollen from the porches and spent days pulling weeds and trying to restore the lawn that was damaged by heavy equipment used to take down several mature trees and equipment used to build a new sea wall. I am slowly making progress. I also found a vintage chandelier for my foyer project and I disassembled it and gave it a good cleaning and rewired it. I hope to have it hanging soon.
Today I am sharing my plate wall in the den of the summer cottage. I found the set of Limoges fish plates at Round Top last year and I hung them on the sides of a heron painting. It’s hard to take photos in this room because there is so much light that it causes glare on the glazed walls and other shiny surfaces.
Let’s take a closer look.
I used Disc Plate Hangers purchased here to hang them. I like the disc hangers because you don’t need a wire plate hanger.

I hope that you are having a great summer!
Your plates look great up there, Pat. Have fun at your cottage. :)
ReplyDeleteSame here, lots of stuff going on that is no way near blog-worthy! LOL! Love your new display! I have yet to hang some plates on my wall, but with a toddler on the loose, maybe, that can wait a while!
